Our Story
I grew up in a small village in Uttarakhand, where my father worked as a Doctor—respected for his honesty and care. Friends and relatives who lived abroad often gifted him perfumes. As a ten-year-old, those bottles felt magical—elegant, mysterious, and unlike anything I had known. That’s where my love for fragrances began.
Over the years, I built a collection—ranging from affordable scents to luxury icons. But I also realised a problem: many perfumes were either too weak to last or too harsh to wear comfortably.
Another realisation was about fragrance concentration. Most perfumes available in the market fall into Eau de Toilette (EDT) or Eau de Parfum (EDP) categories. While popular, they often lacked the richness I was seeking. I wanted deeper oil concentration that could make the perfume feel more premium, long-lasting, and truly memorable. That’s why, for Elegoy, I chose to create Extrait de Parfum—the highest concentration category, reserved for richer and more luxurious fragrances.

Our Philosophy
Our research revealed something tragic: either consumers are paying a fortune for imported perfumes that vanish faster than weekend plans, or compromising for cheap perfumes that smell like class 10th chemistry lab.
We didn’t want to make perfumes. We wanted to create memories in a bottle. We studied how a scent can trigger confidence, attraction and nostalgia. So, we created Elegoy — for people who deserve both elegance and glory.
